Olio Magazine 2009

I submitted these two double pages to ‘OLIO’ an illustration magazine of the University of Gloucestershire in 2009.

It depicts Spring Heeled Jack; a character from English folklore who terrorised the women of Victorian London.

He was said to have a devilish appearance with long metal claws and was able to breath blue and white flames.

He got his name from his ability to perform extraordinary leaps. In one instance he was able to escape the scene of a crime by jumping over a 9 ft high fence.
